Now casting talent for "Showtime at the Apollo," the new tv specials based on the classic television show hosted by Steve Harvey. Auditions are open to variety acts, kids, dance groups, comedians and entertainers of all styles. Kids (ages 5+) and adults are encouraged to audition to compete for the $15,000 cash prize!

• Kids ages 5 and up; Adults of all ages. • Each contestant will have up to ninety (90) seconds to audition. • Singers can bring a CD, mp3 player or sing a cappella - there will NOT be a band in house (a CD player will be provided). • Dancers should bring a CD or mp3 player for their performance. • Do NOT bring CD’s in CD-RW format. • Apollo will provide an 88 key, keyboard (Motif 8 - Semi-Weighted) for any auditioning musicians. • Any and all other instruments must be provided by auditioning musicians. • All auditions should be in good taste and with no profanity, including any racial epithets or slurs (this includes the “N” word). • Auditions are on a “first come, first served” basis.
