Master Class seminars continue the legacy of the Apollo as a place where artists and entertainers learned informally about the principles and ethics of show business. Master Class workshops provide participants with guidance on the basic elements of their craft, and topics such as personal presentation in the public arena, business considerations, and marketing and publicity.
Breakin’ Convention Artistic Director Jonzi D. facilitates this intensive workshop for dancers and choreographers seeking to take a theatrical approach to hip hop dance. The workshop will cover how to develop movement with character and structure. Participants will learn tools that can be applied professionally and help them move their work in hip hop theatre to the next level.
