With interest in the upcoming midterm elections at an unprecedented level, join us for Apollo Uptown Hall: Say It Loud… VOTE! Voices from both sides of the aisle –and the dial– will be on hand to discuss, debate and educate the audience on the issues that affect us as a community and a nation.

Hosted by Rev. Al Sharpton and Ms. Karen Hunter, panelists will include:

• Sonnie Johnson, Host of Sonnie’s Corner
• Zerlina Maxwell, Co-host of Signal Boost
• Jess McIntosh, Co-host of Signal Boost
• Olivier Knox, Host of The Big Picture
• Joe Madison, Host of The Black Eagle
• Michael Steele, Former RNC Chairman

Addressing issues at the forefront of voters’ minds – including civil rights and the economy, Apollo Uptown Hall: Say It Loud… VOTE! will also feature insights from L. Joy Williams and performances by the National Action Network’s Change Choir, Urban Word NYC’s Dena Igusti, and the New World Warrior. Torae from SiriusXM’s Hip-Hop Nation channel and DJ Steel from SiriusXM’s The Heat channel will provide pre- and post-show entertainment.

This is a free event with a ticket required. Free tickets are also available at the Apollo Theater box office. Seating is by general admission, first come first served. Doors open at 6PM. Tickets not picked up from the box office by 6:30pm on the day of the event will be released to patrons in the standby line.
