As part of the New Orleans Jazz Weekend and Masquerade, this special Apollo Music Café presents Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz Playhouse featuring New York jazz scene’s hottest new vocalists. Jazzmeia Horn’s soulful sound has received accolades from top critics and musicians, earning her comparisons to classic vocalists like Betty Carter, Sarah Vaughan and Nancy Wilson.

Camille Thurman is a saxophonist and flute players whose vocal range and ability to perform vocalese is reminiscent to the sounds of Minnie Riperton and Ella Fitzgerald.

Glorious is a vocalist who produces her own style of livetronica, a full drum kit played to electronic dance music.
