As part of its "Legendary" series honoring iconic artists and their impact on American culture, Apollo Live Wire pays tribute to Poet, educator and activist, Nikki Giovanni. Ms. Giovanni will be in conversation with anthropologist and educator Johnnetta B. Cole, recently appointed chair and seventh president of the National Council of Negro Women. The two will look at Giovanni's past and current work in a career that has spanned more than 50 years.
