APOLLO THEATER EDUCATION PRESENTS

Apollo Family Workshop

Between the World and Me

Saturday, March 17 at 2pm - 5pm

In a profound work that pivots from the biggest questions about American history and ideals to the most intimate concerns of a father for his son, Ta-Nehisi Coates' Between the World and Me offers a powerful framework for understanding our nation’s history, the idea of race, and current crisis.

Inspired by Coates’ Between the World and Me, this family workshop invites families to come together to engage in storytelling, mask-making, and photography. This workshop is appropriate for ages 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop. This workshop is presented as part of the Apollo Theater's World Premiere Theatrical Performance of Ta-Nehisi Coates' Between the World and Me.

**Doors open at 1:30 pm. Seating is first come, first seated.

**Registration is now FULL. Walk-ups are welcomed. A stand-by line will be available on the day of the event.

Registration does not guarantee entry. Latecomers are admitted at the discretion of the Management. The Apollo Theater reserves the right to cancel or revoke this registration at any time.
