John Moses has been delightfully offending audiences throughout the United States, Canada and the U.K. for more than 10 years. John is always a standout at comedy festivals including, The Boston Comedy Festival, The Asheville Comedy Festival and most recently the Dark Comedy Festival in Toronto where he roasted Porn Legend Ron Jeremy. He released his debut album “On The Edge” in 2012. It was voted one of Laughspin.com’s “10 Best Comedy Albums of 2012,” and given their dubious distinction as “The One Album From 2012 You Should Get By A Comedian You Probably Never Heard Of.” It is still in regular rotation on The Foxxhole, Sirius XM RawDog, and Canada Laughs.
In 2013, he became an immediate favorite on AXS.TV’s Gotham Comedy Live and was featured in their special “Best of Season One.” In 2015 he made his second appearance on Gotham Comedy Live and received high praise from the show’s host, the iconic Dom Irrera. He has been featured on The Artie Lange show and in a host of independent film projects.

Jersey native Shatara Curry has officially unwrapped her gift of laughter, which comes as no surprise to many. Now, she is doing what every middle child from a big family does best, she is “sharing”. Performing through out the tri-states top comedy clubs, gracing stages like Caroline’s, Rascals, Comix, Improv, The Laugh Factory, Gotham Comedy Club and established clubs across the country, and UK.
Currently working with the Child and Adolescent population for about 8 years, Shatara has proven to have more than just big laughs to offer, but a big heart as well.

Eddie Bryant is an all around entertainer and gifted comedian who has been featured on BET, Magic Johnson’s Aspire, TVOne, and Starz television networks. He has shared stages internationally with other comedy favorites, including: the legendary Dick Gregory, Corey Holcomb, Bill Bellamy, Charlie Murphy, Anthony Anderson, Rodney Perry, DeRay Davis, and Arie Spears….to name a few.
Coupled with a perfect sense of timing and delivery, Eddie can take the most mundane aspect of life and flip it into a side-splitting, unforgettable comedy moment.

The Apollo Comedy Club will see the iconic Theater returning to its comedic roots as it further expands its robust programming offerings. Presented in partnership with the legendary Bob Sumner (producer of Def Comedy Jam, creator of LaffMobb on Aspire), the Apollo Comedy Club will feature an evening of comedy on the Apollo’s intimate Soundstage starring the best up and coming talent in comedy today. The comedy shows will precede the Theater’s weekend music series, Apollo Music Café, extending the Theater’s late night offerings.
