It’s a spontaneous night of fun – tea, wine, incense, throw rugs and pillows, good vibes, a comfy couch and plenty of Instagram moments. Rue Brown

Rue Brown (vocals) is a multifaceted entertainer with a strong background in dance and musical theater. Born and raised in Washington D.C., Ms. Brown is also a singer and songwriter whose blend of jazz, hip hop and soul, a unique sound that reflects her journey and the times. Her film credits include Step Up, Hairspray, Big Momma's House: Like Father, Like Son and Footloose. Her theater credits include the off Broadway production Lost & Found, Memphis and FELA! Ms Brown has been a soloist in Ballet Noir and Creative Outlet Dance Theater. Rue was most recently seen performing at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards with Beyonce, as well as opening for Eric Benet at the Brooklyn Music Festival 2017. OLUTAYO

OLUTAYO (vocals) is a Harlem, New York-based singer/songwriter, dancer/choreographer and actor. A chameleon of an artist, with fourteen years of ballet, modern, hip hop, jazz, tap and West African dance experience under his belt. Olutayo has performed at venues throughout New York. He has recorded a few independent records including Acoustic Ascension Live! and Rise in Love.

Starr Busby

Starr Busby (vocals) is an experimental avant-garde soul singer, songwriter, composer and actor. She began her career at the Grammy Award winning High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas and earned a bachelor of music and certificate in music theatre from Northwestern University. "Starr Busby has this beautiful voice which brings a distinctive new vocal quality to the sort of layering techniques made popular by tUnE-yArDs and Kimbra." -Soundfly. Starr has performed with artists such as the Gorillaz, Esperanza Spalding, X Ambassadors, Alice Smith and fronting Brooklyn based experimental soul band People’s Champs (peopleschamps.com). Her recent credits include: Decolonizing My Vagina (Jack/Exponential Festival); Moby Dick (workshop, Berkeley Repertory Theatre/Public Theatre); Mikrokosmos (Steirischer Herbst, Graz and Nottingham Contemporary); The Girl with the Incredible Feeling (Spoleto Festival di Mondi); The Offending Gesture (The Tank, Flint and Tender Series); La Mama Cantata (La Mama E.T.C., international tour) as well as various concerts and solo shows. Her music is available via iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud and Bandcamp.

Sean Fair

Detroit native, Sean Fair first discovered the power of his voice in a third grade talent competition. He sang Can We Talk by Tevin Campbell.  From that moment on, his love for music found its way to center stage.  Sean is a former member of the gospel group 21:03.  As a solo artist, he has released an album entitled The Consultation.

DJ HARD HITTIN' HARRY

Born in Haiti, raised in Montreal, Canada, and New Jersey, DJ Hard Hittin’ Harry entertains his audience by blending unique styles of the latest and classic Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Funk, Reggae, Pop, Rock, Soca, Afrobeat, Haitian Kompas, Zouk, Kwaito, House, Techno, and much more.  Harry has performed at numerous venues including Hotel Gansevoort, Fashion Forty, Santos Partyhouse, 230 Fifth Penthouse, Highline Ballroom, Negril Village, Soco Brooklyn and many more. You can catch Harry spinning at his residencies World Beat Night (Wednesdays) at Red Rooster (Harlem), Bed-Vyne Wine Brew (every 4th Saturday), Fridays at Bleachers Sportsbar, Soco Restaurant, and the Apollo Theater’s Apollo Music Café.

ENTRFIED

ENTRFIED (keyboard) is a New York based musician and producer who has worked with numerous artist such as Mos Def, Erykah Badu,Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, Jadakiss, Bilal, Ice T, The Game and more.  He produced, engineered and mixed Supanova Slom's Wholistic Wellness for the Hip Hop Generation, The Medium of Balance, and The Remedy.  Entrfied founded M.P.C. (Music Producer Camp) for gifted students and teaches music technology at Brooklyn College.  In his spare time, Entrfied can be found jamming with the Rakiem Walker Project on music Mondays at Red Rooster.
