ABIAH returns to the Apollo with his newest work, ABIAH Sings Nina Simone. This special project explores the Nina Simone catalogue full of secrets and shame, loneliness and tenderness, love and pain. As the fourth full-length from the Ghanaian-American singer/songwriter, ABIAH builds off the warm naturalism of his Billboard Top 100 album BOTTLES and emerges with his most expansive and expressive work so far. While each album marks a departure from the next, ABIAH Sings Nina Simone finds the critically acclaimed artist showing the extraordinary depth of his artistry.

Recent months have seen ABIAH contributions on a succession of innovative music projects, including upcoming music by Oscar & Grammy award winning music artists Common & Robert Glasper, the NAACP Image Award nominated Nickelodeon film “Little Ballers” in which he wrote the theme song; vocal production on the Academy Award (Oscars) nominated film soundtrack, “What Happened, Miss Simone,” and vocal contributions to the Netflix series “The Get Up” by Baz Luhrmann.
