Manhattan Concert Productions presents the 15th annual New York City Jazz Festival, featuring the groundbreaking Swedish vocal ensemble, The Real Group.

The Real Group, a professional a cappella ensemble from Sweden, is one of the leading forces in the world of vocal music today. Their unique blend of perfection, personality, and diverse repertoire has made it possible for the group to collaborate with symphony orchestras, jazz groups, pop bands and international artists. Members include Emma Nilsdotter, Katarina Henryson, Anders Edenroth, Morten Vinther, and Janis Strazdins.

This concert will include a performance from The Mansfieldians, a select ensemble of eight singers from Mansfield University, who specialize in vocal jazz repertoire, led by Patrick Yanni.

Also performing will be the 16-piece John Fedchock New York Big Band. John Fedchock has risen through the musical ranks to emerge as leader of one of the freshest, most exciting big bands in jazz.
